Reliance Industries has shut its seventh well on KG-D6 gas block due to high water and sand ingress as it awaits regulatory nod to carry out urgent work over to plug the problem responsible for drastic fall in output.

Reserve Bank of India allowed the banks to issue debit cards, including co-branded debit cards, without seeking prior approval from it. The RBI also prohibited banks from issuing offline-debit cards. Banks may issue only online debit cards, including co-branded debit cards, where there is an immediate debit to the customers’ account, and where straight-through processing is involved.
