Bharti Airtel reported a net profit decline for the 11th quarter in a row, dropping by 29.7% to Rs. 721.2 crore in July-September this year over the same period last year.
Jubilant Foodworks reported a 36.63% rise in its net profit to Rs 32.34 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2012 on the back of robust sales.
Indraprastha Gas Ltd has notched up a near 40% increase in net sales in Q2 of current fiscal compared to the same period last year.
Cadila Healthcare reported a 7.34% dip in consolidated net profit at Rs 95.14 crore for the quarter ended September 2012 mainly on account of increase in the cost of raw materials.
Jay Shree Tea and Industries Ltd reported a marked increase in second quarter net profit owing to higher price realisations in tea and sugar, a company official said. The Q2 net profit stood at Rs 59.15 crore against Rs 29.62 crore in the comparable quarter last year and Rs 4.86 crore in Q1 this fiscal.
